Qualifications

• 8+ years in network engineering or network operations.
• 2+ years leading network engineering teams with hiring and coaching.
• Experience with large-scale network deployments across multiple sites (LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with incident management, change control, and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Collaborates with facilities, real estate and infrastructure teams to deliver network services at scale.
• AI integration to optimize workflows and ethical AI practices are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers ensuring stable, compliant IP and optical backbone operations.
• Monitor KPIs, triage incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure reliability.
• Coach and develop team members; manage performance and growth.
• Recruit, hire, and build team capacity for future needs.
• Set objectives, guardrails, and measures; hold vendors/ MSPs accountable for reliability.
• Create and enforce SOPs, runbooks, provisioning workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate status and risk to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
