Job summary

Maersk Customs Services in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a CHB Operations Associate to coordinate and execute shipments, ensuring client service levels are met daily.

You will process customs entries, coordinate with forwarders and carriers, handle billing and reporting, and maintain customer SOPs while keeping shipments moving on schedule.

Strong communication, organization and the ability to multi-task under pressure are essential; 1 year of CHB experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year CHB experience in customs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own CHB operations services for assigned customers.
• Process Customs entries and PGA for clearance of goods.
• Coordinate clearance of shipments with forwarders, Steamship Lines, Airlines.
• Complete customer billing and/or other required reports.
• Complete tracking and tracing for inbound shipments.
• Coordinate delivery from airline/ocean piers to destination.
• Maintain customer SOPs and update as needed.
