Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Principal, Technology Operations - Customer Growth Strategy to define and drive strategies for growing Walmart’s cross-border commerce programs. You will collaborate with ECM/GTM, Product, Analytics, Marketing, and international teams to create repeatable growth playbooks and expand into new markets.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, customer obsession, analytical rigor, and the ability to lead complex initiatives across functions and markets.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering management, business, information systems, PM/PMO with 5 years’ experience.
• Option 2: 7 years’ experience in project management, program management or related area.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer growth strategy across awareness, discovery, traffic, conversion, engagement, and retention.
• Partner with ECM/GTM, Product, Analytics, Marketing, and market teams to translate growth opportunities into plans.
• Use customer insights, funnel metrics, and market data to identify friction and prioritize investments.
• Develop strategies to strengthen awareness, adoption, and growth in existing markets.
• Build scalable customer growth to support new-country expansion.
• Identify opportunities across Walmart-owned and external touchpoints to improve visibility.
