Walmart Data Ventures is seeking a Senior Manager for New Market Expansion in Bentonville, AR. You will lead readiness activities, develop scalable expansion playbooks, and partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Training, and Account Management teams to drive successful market launches.

The role emphasizes coordinating readiness, managing risks, and delivering growth across banners, with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field with 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area; 1 year supervisory experience.
• Experience leading complex operations and multi-team programs across functions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive recommendations.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across partners in a respectful, results-driven way.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness activities across future market expansion opportunities by identifying operational requirements, coordinating launch plans, tracking readiness milestones, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful market readiness and implementation.
• Develop, implement, and improve operational playbooks, governance processes, readiness assessments, launch procedures, and best practices for scalable expansion.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business plans, remove obstacles, and meet performance standards.
• Partner with market stakeholders to understand local requirements, coordinate localization efforts, and balance global standards with market needs.
• Incorporate global learnings and stakeholder input into improvements across expansion efforts.
