Job summary

Starlink is seeking a Crisis Response Manager to spearhead the crisis response function—from readiness to activation, through restoration and post-event improvements. You will own the end-to-end process, coordinate across operations, logistics, legal, and engineering, and drive rapid decision-making under pressure.

This role requires experience in emergency/crisis response, operations, and program management, with a track record of coordinating with government and private partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; OR high school diploma/equivalency certificate and 5+ years of professional experience in emergency/crisis response, operations, or program management.
• 4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, crisis response coordination, or strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Own Starlink crisis response operation end to end: readiness in peacetime, activation when an event starts, execution through restoration.
• Build and maintain the execution plan for market and event response, including kits, logistics, staffing, partner onboarding, and activation paths.
• Monitor readiness and response KPIs (time to first connection, kit utilization, activation accuracy, billing and account health).
• Run the response during events: set the operating picture, assign work, flag delays, and make recommendations with impact.
• Partner across Customer Success, Sales, Operations, Logistics, Legal, and Engineering for cross-functional flow under pressure.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for emergency response stakeholders globally; translate requirements into action.
• Build external engagement frameworks, onboarding processes, and long-term relationships with agencies and partners.
• Turn field and partner feedback into product, process, and playbook changes for faster responses.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements that scale capability without headcount.
