Job summary

Airbnb's Global Crisis Management team is seeking a seasoned professional to lead global incident response and threat monitoring. In this role you review incident notifications, research threats, and craft communications for internal and external audiences.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in disaster response, strong written/verbal communication, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional partners while travelling occasionally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in global disaster response, threat monitoring, or related field.
• Experience monitoring global threats and crises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Availability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Review incident notifications and determine response strategy.
• Conduct proactive threat research to assess potential impact.
• Draft and coordinate preparedness and response messaging.
• Coordinate disaster response with cross-functional teams.
• Provide situation reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in product and process improvement with operations.
• Other duties as requested.
