Job summary

Instructure, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee complex month-end and quarter-end closes for a privately held SaaS company. You will manage a distributed global team, ensure audit-ready financials, and drive process improvements including AI-assisted close tasks.

The role requires advanced accounting expertise and proactive leadership to partner with the business beyond reporting. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, GAAP knowledge, and extensive experience with NetSuite,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA highly preferred.
• Experience with GAAP and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed global accounting team and mentor staff accountants.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage P&L expense accruals, payroll, royalty, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
• Prepare reconciliations for numerous subsidiaries and material accounts.
• Develop and implement AI-driven close procedures to improve efficiency and controls.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives including system implementations and M&A integrations.
