Job summary

Instructure, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to guide financial operations for our privately held SaaS business.

You will oversee month-end and quarter-end close, own P&L accruals, payroll, royalties, fixed assets, and leases while leading a distributed global team to audit-ready financials. You will drive process improvements, promote SOX-compliant workpapers, and partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic insights.

• Advanced accounting acumen with rigorous attention to detail and strong workpapers.
• Proven leadership to manage global staff and complex financial processes.
• Proactive problem-solver to implement efficiencies and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong project management to oversee multiple workflows, M&A and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead team deliverables and mentor a distributed global team.
• Implement and manage AI agents for month-end close tasks.
• Own P&L expense accruals, payroll, royalty, fixed assets, leases, and other technical needs.
• Prepare month-end close reconciliations for 18+ subsidiaries and 130+ accounts.
• Maintain SOX controls and audit-ready schedules.
• Lead cross-functional ad hoc projects tied to growth, systems, and integrations.
