Job summary

Notion, the collaborative AI workspace, is hiring a Senior Accountant for Corporate Accounting in San Francisco (Hybrid). You’ll own general ledger areas and the month-end close, partnering with FP&A to explain results and strengthen controls.

You will use AI-enabled tools to streamline analyses, reconciliations, and recurring workflows, driving scalable improvements across the accounting function. The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and AI-enabled workflows.
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger areas and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and explain variances with FP&A.
• Improve controls and workflows using AI-enabled tools and automation.
