Job summary
Axon is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support a global sales organization by structuring and negotiating complex commercial transactions and leading a contracts team. You will partner with Sales, Engineering, Product and IT to enable scalable contracting alongside risk management and policy development.
The role requires at least 3 years of in-house experience and a J.D. with active US bar admission, plus familiarity with AI-enabled contract processes and CLMs. Competitive benefits apply.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
- Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of contracts including SaaS, hardware and services.
- Experience negotiating SaaS, IaaS and/or PaaS contracts.
- JD and good standing with at least one US state bar.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to global partners on transactional matters related to sale of Axon products and services.
- Structure, review, and negotiate contracts for goods, services and SaaS solutions; advise on risk analyses.
- Supervise Contracts Managers and enforce Axon's risk and policy standards.
- Develop and implement contract templates and lifecycle management processes.
