Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support AI and connected applications teams with complex technology transactions. You will draft and negotiate agreements, advise on privacy and IP licensing, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive practical, risk-adjusted solutions.

Located on-site in Mountain View, CA or NYC, the role requires independent work across multiple time zones and a strong understanding of GDPR/CCPA compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commercial or technology transactions.
Experience supporting technology product teams and negotiating complex software/platform agreements.
Knowledge of APIs, SDKs, data flows, and software integrations.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with third-party technology providers.
Provide legal guidance on technology integrations and data flows.
Advise on GDPR/CCPA compliance and data privacy matters.
Support IP licensing, software licensing, and content usage rights.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to structure tech agreements.
Independently manage a portfolio of commercial matters with minimal supervision.
