Job summary

Axon in Sterling, VA, seeks a Corporate Counsel to support global sales with complex contracts, risk analyses, and lifecycle management. You will partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Software, Hardware, Product and IT to structure and negotiate deals for a rapidly scaling business.

The role requires in-office presence 4x per week and travel up to 15%. You’ll lead drafting, updating, and enforcing contract templates, advise on regulatory matters, and mentor Contracts Managers while shaping processes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating SaaS, hardware and services contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement laws/processes in EMEA, UK and EU.

Responsibilities

• Support EMEA region sales and possibly other regions.
• Provide legal advice on transactional matters and risk analyses.
• Lead drafting, updating and maintaining contract language and policies.
• Oversee Contracts Managers and CLM system implementation.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
