Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR accounting globally within a fast-growing, AI-driven environment. You will lead month-end close, AFDA/CECL modeling, and AR reporting while partnering with OTC, Revenue, and Finance Transformation teams.

The role emphasizes technical GAAP judgment, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on scalable processes and ERP optimization in a dynamic tech setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years AR and GL accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• CPA preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong US GAAP judgement; ability to research and defend conclusions.
• ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite) with data reconciliation capabilities.
• M&A integration experience is a plus.
• Automation mindset leveraging AI tools in finance context.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global AR month-end close with end-to-end subledger to GL reconciliations.
• Own AFDA and CECL models; prepare monthly provisions and audit trails.
• Identify design and adoption of AI/automation across AR workflows.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity, variance explanations, and balance sheet drivers.
• Support SOX controls; prepare audit-ready workpapers and respond to requests.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A teams to ensure subledger accuracy.
• Partner on Finance Transformation and SAP implementation to standardize processes.
