Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR accounting across global balances in a fast-growing, AI-first environment.

You will lead multi-entity consolidations, drive AFDA/CECL modeling, and partner with OTC, Revenue, and Finance Transformation teams to scale processes with automation. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of AR/GL experience, CPA preferred, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP/NetSuite).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive AR and GL accounting experience in a mid-to-large organization.
• CPA strongly preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global AR Month-End Close, including end-to-end subledger-to-GL reconciliations and AR reporting.
• Model AFDA/CECL and manage monthly provision recommendations.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives across AR accounting workflows.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity and provide AR trend analyses for senior leadership.
• Ensure audit readiness and respond to audit requests; maintain SOX controls.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A to validate subledger accuracy.
