Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR accounting across global balances and multiple entities. You will lead multi-entity subledger consolidations within a structured preparer/reviewer framework, partnering with OTC, Revenue, and Finance Transformation teams.

You will apply rigorous U.S. GAAP analysis to complex receivables matters, drive tight close processes, and shape AI-first automation strategies that scale with rapid company

Qualifications

• 6+ years of AR and GL accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• CPA strongly preferred; Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• ERP experience with SAP or NetSuite; ability to query and reconcile data.
• Strong U.S. GAAP judgment and ability to defend accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Own Global AR Month-End Close and end-to-end subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Model AFDA and CECL; prepare monthly provisions and write-offs with audit trails.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives in AR workflows.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity and explain variances to leadership.
• Support SOX controls and audit readiness; coordinate with auditors.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A on subledger accuracy.
