Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Global Alliance Lead to own the GSI relationship end-to-end, from executive engagement to practitioner enablement. You will orchestrate across sales, solution architecture, and marketing to drive joint pipeline and platform adoption worldwide.

This senior role requires 15+ years in alliances, with deep data stack knowledge, and a proven ability to engage C-suite stakeholders. Travel globally is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management in data/cloud/enterprise software.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, global relationships with major consulting firms or global system integrators.
• Deep understanding of the modern data stack and value of open data infrastructure such as dbt and Fivetran.
• Ability to engage credibly at C-suite and partner level within a global consulting organisation.
• Strong commercial instincts to identify and develop joint pipeline opportunities.
• Track record as a cross-functional orchestrator across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for enterprise audiences.
• Familiarity with AI, agentic workflows, and data governance is a plus.
• Willingness to travel globally to engage GSI leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the global GSI relationship at partner and C-suite level and define a multi-year joint strategy.
• Drive adoption of the platform within GSI delivery teams and embed the platform into their architectures and responses.
• Design and execute an enablement programme for GSI practitioners worldwide with certifications and playbooks.
• Develop joint GTM campaigns anchored to open data infrastructure and trusted AI delivery.
• Source and develop new pipeline opportunities and co-sell motions with GSI account teams.
• Maintain a rigorous view of alliance pipeline and report on progress to leadership.
• Identify risks early and mobilize resources to address gaps.
