Job summary

Fivetran seeks a Principal Partner Solutions Architect (GSI) to serve as the global technical advisor to priority Global Systems Integrators, leading conversations at the executive level and directing the joint business plan with dbt Labs. You will own technical capability and multi-year bets for the GSI partnership.

This full-time US-based role works at the intersection of field engineering, product management, and partnerships, coordinating with regional teams and product to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as an enterprise/solutions architect or similar customer- and partner-facing role.
• Fluency across the modern data stack (ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehouses/lakehouses, semantic layers, catalogs, BI, and AP/MCP) and ability to explain fit for a systems integrator.
• Experience engaging with senior technical stakeholders and executives, translating technical solutions into partner/customer value.
• Experience with modern AI paradigms, generative AI, and data technologies, including evaluating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted advisory relationships with priority GSIs and secure multi-year technology bets with the company and dbt Labs.
• Own the joint technical narrative and capability messaging for the combined platform in the GSI delivery practice.
• Promote the company + dbt Labs with partners at conferences and online.
• Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures for complex GSI mega-agreements.
• Maintain a current view of integration state, gaps, and opportunities across the platform for the GSI delivery method.
• Co-develop IP with GSI partners and evangelize it with customers and the field.
