Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience handling imports/exports (ocean/air) or a combination of education and expertise.
• Experience and knowledge regarding import, compliance, rules and regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of Puerto Rico customs laws, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and process import/export documents, ensuring accuracy and proper sequence.
• Receive and track shipments, update customers, dispatch for delivery and collect PODs.
• Bill/invoice files and manage payables/receivables per company rules.
• Provide responsive customer service and assist sales with quotes.
• Promote compliance and report issues to management.
