JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. in the United States is seeking an Import Specialist to manage air and ocean import shipments, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction across the end-to-end process.

You will prepare documents, monitor shipments, bill customers, maintain compliance with US customs regulations, and support sales with quotes and cost forecasting. The role requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of CargoWise (C1).

Qualifications

• 3+ years importing (air/ocean) experience or equivalent education
• Strong organization and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication with internal/external stakeholders
• Knowledge of US customs rules and regulations

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review and process import documents (invoices, classifications, etc.)
• Monitor and update shipment status; dispatch and delivery coordination
• Bill/invoice files per terms; manage payables/receivables
• Assist sales & management with quotes and cost forecasting
• Provide responsive customer service and back-up support as needed
