Job summary

Expeditors International in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced account management professional to develop, maintain and grow a portfolio of cross-functional, global accounts.

You will drive revenue growth, coordinate with product, geography and operations teams, deliver value-added reviews, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvements, all while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• University qualification or equivalent business degree.
• At least 3 years of Expeditors or industry experience.
• Experience in business development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen relationships with assigned accounts.
• Maintain and grow revenue of assigned accounts.
• Understand customers’ business, strategy, and our role.
• Build unity between Expeditors’ teams and the customer.
• Penetrate accounts and develop relationships at all levels.
• Communicate service issues and drive resolutions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and weekly follow-up items.
• Assist with invoicing processes and collect payments when needed.
• Manage client profiles and create process maps.
• Meet with customers face-to-face regularly to review information.
• Provide technical updates and system demos to LAM accounts.
• Collect, evaluate and present data analysis to customers.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Involve sales and operations to develop growth opportunities.
• Seek continual improvements to procedures for cost efficiency.
• Spearhead issue resolution for problems outside local branch.
• Commit to Expeditors' success with ethical practices and attention to detail.
