Washington State University Foundation is seeking a Gift Processing Manager to lead day-to-day operations, oversee gift and pledge processing from receipt to receipting, and supervise staff to ensure timely, accurate processing of $150M+ annually. The role partners with donors and advancing teams and drives process improvements.

The position emphasizes strategic leadership within Gift Accounting, optimizing workflows and delivering excellent donor service, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience with supervisory duties.
• Experience in gift processing, financial transaction processing, fundraising operations, or related area.
• Experience with database or CRM systems and maintaining financial records.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving standards.
• Experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven processing workflows.
• Ability to analyze complex transactions and resolve discrepancies.

• Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day gift processing operations.
• Oversee gifts and pledges from initial receipt through posting and receipting.
• Lead staff and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
• Serve as resource for donors and advancement partners on submission requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities and oversee processing technology.
