Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Draper, Utah. The position includes 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing venipunctures, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper handling per protocol. Requires geriatric experience and a valid phlebotomy certification where applicable.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of experience; minimum 1 year of experience.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Ensure all requisitions or computer labels match script for 100% accuracy.
