Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist in Draper, UT for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri. The position involves a variety of blood-drawing duties and lab responsibilities, with benefits available.

Responsibilities include performing venipunctures, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper transport and documentation. Requires geriatric experience and a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Understand all physician orders. Match requisitions to specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples according to required temperature, ensuring 100% accuracy and transport integrity.
