LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a Draper, UT contract position. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and adhering to OSHA/DEP regulations. Requires geriatric experience and 1 year of venipuncture work experience.

Formación

• Geriatric phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year venipuncture experience.
• Certification in phlebotomy valid for the state of employment is required where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens per procedure; clearly explain venipuncture process to patients.
• Demonstrate venipuncture techniques using straight or butterfly needles.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split, and freeze as required.
• Check all test requisitions for 100% accuracy; package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens per required temperatures and follow protocol and OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings and respond to inquiries.
