Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care, assess residents, and participate in care planning. You will document changes, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure medications and treatments are administered safely and promptly.

The role requires current IL LPN licensure, IV and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within six months), and strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing leading to LPN licensure.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in Illinois.
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months.
• CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing.
• Document assessments and communicate changes to the IDT.
• Participate in care planning and update plans as interventions change.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely.
• Notify physician using SBARR; respond to crises calmly.
