Job summary

Total Life in the Tacoma-South Seattle area is seeking nurse practitioners for an in-person contract role to lead longevity days at partner senior living communities. You’ll start with a short educational talk for residents, followed by one-on-one longevity visits.

You’ll be trained by our Chief Medical Officer and work with a team to provide comprehensive geriatric assessments, medication review, and structured follow-up with primary care providers.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted WA ARNP license with prescriptive authority.
• Current national NP board certification.
• Active DEA registration and Washington Prescription Monitoring Program registration.
• Clinical experience caring for adults 65+.
• Experience with Medicare documentation and E/M coding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 45 to 60 minute longevity visits built on a geriatric assessment.
• Evaluate eligible residents for weight management where appropriate.
• Identify residents needing follow-up care and coordinate with primary care providers.
• Document encounters accurately to Medicare standards in our EHR.
• Represent Total Life professionally with residents, families and staff.
• Travel to assigned senior living communities in the Tacoma-South Seattle area.
