Job summary
WSP USA in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects. You will oversee investigations, analyses and design for transportation, energy and building projects while mentoring engineers.
You will manage scope, budgets and schedules, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to client development. PE license and 10+ years' geotechnical experience required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related geotechnical field.
- 10+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in a New England state or reciprocity.
- Experience leading geotechnical design and construction projects.
- Strong project management, technical writing, and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical projects from proposal through design, construction and closeout.
- Provide technical oversight for investigations, subsurface exploration, slope stability and earthwork.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, quality and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and agencies.
- Review and prepare reports, specifications, calculations and construction documents; mentor junior staff.
- Support business development, client relationships and proposal pursuits.
