Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to coordinate and complete geotechnical project testing services using established engineering principles. You will lead multi-disciplinary project teams, manage budgets, and support marketing efforts to meet department goals.

You will perform field and laboratory testing, prepare formal reports with recommendations, and present ideas to clients and regulators. Travel within the regional area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
• Advanced degree in Civil Geotechnical Engineering with 6+ years.
• Professional Engineering registration in Wisconsin (or within 3 months).
• Ability to obtain registration in other States.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, including budgets and client interaction.
• Perform geotechnical observations and judgments on complex sites.
• Prepare formal geotechnical reports with recommendations.
• Coordinate field testing and assign staff.
• Develop proposals and marketing duties to meet goals.
• Represent AET to clients and professional audiences.
