Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking Field Engineers to support engineering projects, perform geotechnical field testing, and conduct field observation of construction materials. The role emphasizes accurate data collection and collaboration in a field-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field.
• EIT certification or ability to achieve professional registration preferred.
• Internship or prior related work experience appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field testing according to QA procedures.
• Perform soil laboratory tests according to QA procedures.
• Prepare field and laboratory reports for project files.
• Communicate with clients to determine project needs.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the materials testing laboratory.
