Job summary

Apple Retail in McLean, VA is seeking a knowledgeable Genius Bar professional to support and repair Apple hardware and software. You will stay up to date with products, diagnostics, and repair processes to deliver high-quality service.

You will troubleshoot customer issues with care, diagnose problems, perform repairs, educate customers on purchases, and share insights with the team to improve our service standards. This role may involve mentoring teammates and handling escalations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or sales.
• Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Have extensive knowledge and stay up to date on all Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes.
• Support customers having Apple product or software issues with care and empathy, using all tools and resources provided by Apple.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
• Provide excellent service to Apple customers by understanding needs, presenting product and service recommendations, and educating on relevant ways to buy.
• Mentor and be a positive role model for Genius Bar team members.
• Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations.
