Job summary

PowerChampions is seeking a Generator Service Manager to lead our generator service department, overseeing technicians, dispatch, parts, scheduling, and logistics to deliver excellence in service and financial performance.

You will be accountable for the department's P&L, ensure safety and compliance (OSHA, NFPA, EPA), and work with Sales and Leadership to grow market share while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes Georgia Class II (Unrestricted) Electrical Contractor License.
• Proven experience leading generator or industrial service operations.
• Strong scheduling, dispatch, logistics, and parts management background.
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and financial accountability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall leadership, efficiency, and profitability of the service department.
• Supervise technicians, dispatchers, and parts/logistics staff; mentor team.
• Oversee scheduling of technicians for maintenance, repairs, and emergencies.
• Manage parts availability, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely service.
• Own the department's P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop processes for safety, compliance (OSHA, NFPA, EPA), and QA.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and grow market share.
• Collaborate with Sales and Leadership to align service delivery with goals.
• Oversee service records, work orders, compliance docs, and performance reporting.
