Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for Commercial Generators to maintain and repair generator and power distribution equipment at customer sites. You will deliver technical support on operational issues and coordinate with the Product Support team as needed.

The role requires field experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams. Candidates should be ready for 85% outdoor work and travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Experience with generator systems and 500kW+ is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and repair electrical systems.
• Proficient in safe operation of test equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites for service calls and repairs.
• Document service activities and maintain records accurately.
