National Power, LLC is actively seeking a Generator Field Technician to lead startup, service, and repair of industrial generators and related equipment across assigned territory. You will supervise technicians, coach performance, and ensure safety and quality controls while maintaining customer relationships.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and travel as needed; you will participate in recruiting, planning and quoting complex service projects and provide after-hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Generac Master Technician or equivalent certification and training is required.
• High level of expertise with switchgear.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and direct the work of assigned service technicians within geographic territory.
• Evaluate performance, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs.
• Identify and assign team members to provide field support and mentorship to other technicians.
• Partner with Service Director to resolve employee performance or behavioral issues and determine staffing needs.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring of field service technicians.
• Serve as first point of contact for phone and field support, troubleshooting and repair assistance.
