Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking an experienced Service Technician for Commercial Generators in North Carolina. You will perform ongoing maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment and provide technical support to customers on operational aspects.

Qualifications include 3+ years field experience (Level II) and progression through higher levels with extensive experience on 500kW+ systems. Strong diagnostic, schematics-reading and safety skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing generator systems and power distribution equipment.
• Proficiency in preventative maintenance and diagnostics.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work on-site with customers.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to customer sites and on-site service delivery.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
• Maintain and safeguard company equipment and tools.
• Install and replace batteries and perform Preventive Maintenance.
• Complete paperwork timely (field reports, time sheets, expense reports).
• Provide technical support to customers on operation and maintenance aspects.
