Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field across local counties. You will support residential, commercial, and industrial clients to keep their power on and reduce downtime.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel in a company vehicle, with after-hours availability and a strong focus on safety and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a technical school in generators or power systems is desired.
• Some experience in repair or maintenance of generators preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude can substitute for formal training.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
• Willingness to work after hours and be on-call.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting for residential to industrial clients.
• Document reports on work performed and maintain company vehicle inventory.
