Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a skilled generator technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of generator sets.

The role requires the ability to travel regionally, respond to emergency calls, and deliver reliable service with strong customer communication. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of generator experience, plus technical school training in generators or power systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years’ generator repair/maintenance experience or equivalent
• Technical school training in generators, diesel, or power systems is preferred
• Ability to read safety and operation instructions and write routine reports
• Must have a satisfactory driving record and DOT consideration

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and services on generator sets (8 kW to 2800 kW) across makes/models
• Conduct inspections, start-up tests, and test loads per requirements
• Troubleshoot components including alternators, wiring, safety devices, and batteries
• Provide accurate service reports and communicate with customers
• Travel in a company service vehicle to local counties and be on-call for emergencies
