Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field, ensuring clients’ power stays on.

The role requires traveling to residential, commercial, and industrial sites and performing preventive maintenance, testing, inspections, and commissioning while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for generator maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Lead safety-focused maintenance and document all work performed.
• Travel within local counties in company vehicle and manage inventory.
