Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field for residential, commercial and industrial clients.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning, while ensuring clear communication with customers and thorough documentation. Travel across local counties with a company vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a technical school is desired for generator experience.
• Experience in repair or maintenance of generators preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes, and inspections.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot generator systems and electrical components.
• Test, commission, and start-up generators per job requirements.
• Document work thoroughly and communicate with customers clearly.
• Travel in company vehicle to local client sites and maintain vehicle inventory.
