Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas standby generators for residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Florida. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-site service.

You will join a growing team, receive extensive training, and work with top brands while traveling locally in company vehicle. Candidates should have generator experience or technical school training and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a technical program or generator-focused training is preferred.
• Some experience in repair or maintenance of generators is preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Mechanical aptitude can substitute for formal generator education.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections, including oil, filter, and fuel system services.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems (ATS, wiring, switches) and perform diagnosis.
• Commissioning, start-ups, and program control panels; ensure network connectivity.
• Provide clear communication to customers and complete service reports.
• Travel safely in a company vehicle and maintain inventory and safety of the vehicle.
