Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The role involves preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Technical schooling or training related to generators, diesel, or electric power.
• Some experience in repair or maintenance of generators is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document work performed.
