Follett Higher Education seeks a Market Leader of General Merchandise in California to drive sales, lead GM departments, and build campus partnerships. You will train teams, execute promotions, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience across stores, reporting to market leadership.

You will lead talent development, collaborate with campus partners, and maintain strong relationships to hit budgets and service goals while upholding Follett Values.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail or sales.
• Results- and sales-driven mindset.
• Experience with full-cycle talent management.
• Passionate about customer service.
• Ability to foster campus relationships.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Travel 10%–50%.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and results within a geographic market.
• Analyze merchandising reports to drive business results with partners.
• Deliver visual presentations and manage merchandise placement.
• Coordinate floor moves, signage and merchandise presentation.
• Maintain inventory control and stock receiving.
• Establish and foster campus relationships and events.
• Lead talent management and training of store teams.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a solutions-based culture.
