Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC is seeking a General Manager for Prime Storage Group to lead daily self-storage facility operations, drive occupancy, and deliver top-tier customer service. You will oversee in-person and phone interactions, merchandise sales, and maintenance tasks while maintaining secure, clean properties.

Ideal candidates bring 2-4 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing role with P&L exposure, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with P&L exposure
• High School diploma or GED required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must be technically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and POS systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Outlook is required
• Must be physically able to perform routine maintenance tasks daily
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Possession of a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Availability for travel to various locations
• Healthy work/life balance; facilities closed by 6:00 pm and Sundays

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer interactions in-person and over the phone to tenants
• Generate sales and maintain high occupancy via advertising and customer relations
• Manage daily operations including collections, deposits, and calls
• Show and rent units by understanding tenant needs
• Sell merchandise, upsell insurance, schedule moving trucks, cross-sell other facilities
• Assist with auction preparations and tenant communications
• Maintain high customer service and positive reviews per company standards
• Keep the facility clean, safe, and secure; perform minor maintenance
• Support other duties as assigned
• Travel to various locations as needed
