Job summary

Restaurant Associates in University City, Philadelphia, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a dynamic, multi-concept dining and events destination. You will oversee diverse dining outlets and a high-volume events program, driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in a multi-unit or complex foodservice environment.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting responsibilities.
• Proven ability to coach and develop diverse teams across front and back of house.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant concepts and event spaces.
• Lead financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Support, coach, and develop a diverse team across front and back of house.
• Guide hiring, onboarding, training, and employee relations in partnership with HR.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and workforce planning to align with business needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, and cross-functional partners.
• Partner with the Executive Chef and leadership team to deliver high-quality food and service.
• Ensure consistent execution across high-volume service and large-scale events.
• Maintain operational standards, safety, and compliance across all areas.
• Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs, activations, and guest experiences.
