Job summary

Popeyes in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a passionate General Manager to lead our restaurant to success. You will oversee all daily operations, drive team performance, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires 3–5 years of restaurant management, strong leadership, and financial acumen to manage costs and profitability. You’ll recruit and develop talent, coach the team, and promote a positive, high-energy culture aligned with Popeyes values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably as a GM or AGM.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Financial and business acumen, including P&L understanding.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently
