Potbelly is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy shop in the Illinois/Denver area. You will drive performance, develop the team, and maintain a culture focused on good vibes and customer service.

The role requires 2+ years GM experience in a restaurant/retail setting with P&L responsibility, strong communication, and the ability to meet labor and safety standards. Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years GM experience in restaurant/retail with P&L responsibility preferred.
• Must pass Food Safety Certification within state requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to write schedules and meet labor goals.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shop team members to realize potential.
• Interview, hire, and develop great staff.
• Maintain Good Vibes culture to attract/retain customers and employees.
• Schedule Associates, Trainers, and Shift Leaders effectively.
• Delegate tasks to ensure high standards of execution.
• Control costs, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
• Lead local shop marketing to maximize sales.
