Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager I for the Milwaukee Airport QSR cluster to lead operations, staffing, and guest satisfaction while upholding brand standards and profitability. You will oversee opening and closing procedures, staffing deployment, training, compliance with health and safety programs, and the execution of local marketing efforts and promotions.

Candidates should have 3+ years of restaurant P&L management and 5–7 years overall dining-industry experience; a Food Service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience with 5–7 years overall restaurant experience
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for part of the time-based experience
• Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of HMSHost policies and products, service, equipment and operations standards
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, understand menus and brand standards, and converse comfortably

Responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant; ensure openings and closings are completed
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability; manage P&L
• Hire, promote, and discipline staff; promote HMSHost as employer
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance with badging requirements
• Monitor financial and operational data to meet unit goals
