Job summary

United Future is seeking a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, owning daily operations, profitability, and growth. You will manage field technicians, dispatch, and office staff while driving strategic pricing and safety compliance.

The role requires experience in construction project management, a related degree or equivalent certification, and a Journeyman/Master Plumber license. California residency and a clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in managing projects in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related fields, or equivalent certification with experience.
• Extensive HVAC and general construction knowledge.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent communication, organization, and software skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the division’s P&L, budget, and pricing models to hit gross profit targets.
• Lead licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff with a culture of safety and quality.
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and field workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Develop sales strategies to grow maintenance contracts and market share.
• Serve as escalation point for customer inquiries and project disputes.
