Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Los Angeles seeks a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, own the division’s operational and financial success, and scale revenue. You will manage the full lifecycle of our plumbing department—from field technicians and dispatch to P&L management, safety compliance, and business growth.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction project management experience (or a related degree or equivalent certification), a California driver’s license, strong

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in managing projects in construction
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related fields or equivalent certification
• California Driver License with clean DMV record
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Independent judgment in prioritizing and managing situations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required
• Familiarity with job costing, scheduling, and estimating software

Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership: Manage the division's budget, track labor and material costs, and implement pricing models to hit gross margin targets
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, and job workflows to maximize technician efficiency
• Business Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand maintenance contracts and market share
• Customer Relations: Escalation point for customer inquiries and disputes to protect brand reputation
• Safety and compliance: Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance across the division
