Job summary

Choolaah in Westlake, OH seeks a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, inspire teams, and deliver delightful guest experiences. You will oversee financial controls, people development, and customer satisfaction across all shifts, upholding brand standards and driving performance.

Open availability including weekends, minimum 50 hours per week, and a culture of safety and social responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% Neat Clean Organized and Operational facility to company standards
• Mastery of ALL work & management processes (100% standard, 100% of the time, 100% volume)
• Hold Team accountable for delivering 100% of standard, 100% of the time, at 100% volume
• Teach and coach operational excellence daily
• Drive 4-wall sales growth by delivering key business drivers of Quality, Accuracy, Hospitality, Speed of Service, Cleanliness, People and Value
• Topgrade and develop a high performance team of up to 30–40 team members
• Be a servant leader, mentor and coach
• Inspire the team to uphold brand standards and exceed guest expectations
• Delight every guest every time creating raving fans
• Be an ambassador for Choolaah’s Vision, Mission and Values
• Interact with guests one-on-one to create joyful experiences
• Achieve financial and operational targets
• Drive additional sales growth
• Treat partners with respect and provide constructive feedback
• Provide leadership for safety and social responsibility initiatives
• Open availability required including weekends

Choolaah GM (CGM) is passionate about quality food, team building and development, and having the opportunity to run a world class business. CGM has total responsibility for managing the daily operations of a single Choolaah restaurant, ensuring every guest is delighted every time, creating raving fans. Our CGMs build, inspire and develop their restaurant management teams and oversee the financial controls, operations, people development, and customer delight within the restaurant across all shifts.
