Job summary

The Wendy's Company is seeking a General Manager for a Wendy's franchise location in Palatka, FL. This leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, growing sales, and developing a high-performing team within a fast-paced restaurant.

As a servant leader, you will drive daily operations, financial controls, staff development, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for internal advancement in a franchise-supported culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years General Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work an 11-point schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and access to private transportation.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on service, results and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and drive growth in sales and people development.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and budget adherence.
• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, and train new team members.
• Coach, counsel, and develop staff; maintain team relations and performance.
• Ensure health, safety and sanitation standards are met.

• Our General Manager's take pride in what they do, and are known for doing the right thing, especially for our Crew! The GM is responsible for the restaurant's daily operations, including, but not limited to:
  • Have a Growth Mind Set - Grow People, Grow Sales
  • Maintain day-to-day financial controls
  • Create and manage staff schedules
  • Interview, hire, and train
  • Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations.
  • Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
  • Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met

• 2 years+ General Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred)
• No More than 3 Jobs in the last 5 Years
• Flexibility to work an 11 Point Schedule which includes various shifts, incl weekends and holidays
• Valid DL in good standing & access to private trans
• HS Diploma or equivalent & possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - People Smart
